My Brothers as my year as master comes to a close I would like to thank each and every one of you for a great year I will always remember. Weston Lodge does set its course by the stars keeping a true course in masonry. So as we would say after flying hot air balloons. “May the winds welcome you with softness. May the sun bless you with its warm rays. May you fly so high and so well God joins you in your laughter and set you gently back into the loving arms of Mother Earth.”

Masters note for November

With all election BS we go through anymore this statement seems truer than ever. My brothers Freemasonry at times seems to be the only voice of sanity I hear, the only organization for the betterment of all men not just a chosen few. As masons we may disagree, but we should not go into every discussion with predetermined ideals, but should listen to our brother’s opinions.

Masters note for September

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life.  Comes into us at midnight very clean.

It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday

We can’t change our past it is what is past. As men and masons we are taught we should always strive to improve. This doesn’t need to be a drastic endeavor or major change but small changes that add up. We should always support each other even if we may disagree on something we are still brothers.

Masters note for August

It is organized as a fellowship of men, a system of morals, a philosophy taught by degrees through the use of symbol, story, legend, pictures and drama. It has served as a center of union among, different backgrounds, cultures, and countries. It serves as the means of conciliating true friendship among persons, who, because of differences, must have otherwise remained at a perpetual distance.

It is true we at Weston come from different backgrounds, different countries, different cultures, different generations and different economic situations. We have all come together as brothers to learn from each other and to teach each other the great philosophy of Freemasonry. I am personally amazed at the wealth of knowledge our brothers have and I’m grateful for their willingness to share it.
