Over the summer we completed a few projects including a makeover for the dining room, new blinds for the library and new curtains for the meeting room.
Part one of the dining room makeover was repainting to give it a new bright and clean look. Today we completed the second part of the makeover by installing new blinds in both the dining room and library. Its an amazing difference and will create a good impression on visitors to the lodge. Special thanks to all those who helped make this happen WM Cisco, Bruce Swedal, Walt Ashlock, Larry Page, Benjamin Bridge, Michael Cardoza (and his father in law), Josh Levin, Loren Kohler, Daniel Croll, Larry Wullbrandt and all the Weston Masonic Temple Association who approved funds.
As is common in other popular downtown areas, parking in Downtown Littleton, Colorado can be challenging at times. The map below can assist in finding parking locations within a reasonable distance of Weston Masonic Temple. When planning your visit, it is advisable to arrive early and give yourself time to find parking.
Enlarge the map area near Weston Masonic Temple (denoted by the blue pin) to see members only rectangular parking areas next to the building - click on those rectangular areas to view information on those spaces. The Temple Board has approved funds for new blinds in the dining room and library. Also approved are funds for painting materials for the dining room at the lodge.
Now we need a group of volunteers to make it happen.
We have a tentative date of Saturday August 24, 2019 @ 8 AM to paint the dining area.
The plan is for Walt to tape if off the night before. Painting will begin Saturday morning. We will have a few people trimming it out, a few following with rollers and a few cleaning up behind.
Lunch will be provided.
After the painting is complete. We will get the new blinds picked up and install them.
Let Bruce Swedal know whether or not you will be there and start spreading the word and recruiting others ASAP. If we get a decent crew, this will probably not take that long.
Thanks!
The September 4th stated communication was a joint communication with Columbine Lodge #147. There were proficiencies held for the first and second degrees and afterwards the officers for both lodges posed for photos to memorialize the event.
