MASTER'S MESSAGE
Brethren, this year has had its turmoil. Our lives have been, and continue to be touched by the pandemic. It has touched us all in ways that no one could have expected a year ago. Unfortunately, we now find ourselves in another shut down, which impacts our families, our community, and activities at the lodge.
This year, it seems that as the COVID statistics go, so goes our personal freedoms. The ability for Weston Lodge to hold meetings and conduct business has been deeply impacted. Yet through leadership, we still had many accomplishments.
Recently, the country made a decision on the direction it will take over the next four years. In the next few weeks, Weston Lodge will similarly need to decide on its direction for the next year.
Due to the shutdown, we are forced to conduct the election of officers via a mail out ballot. The ballot has been mailed to all eligible members at their address on file. There are pre-filled options for each officer’s position, or you can make use of a spot to write in your preferred choice if not listed. Instructions and a stamped return envelope are included with the ballot, but all ballots must be received by December 31, 2020 to be counted.

So with the events of my life. Some have been tragic. Some have been happy. But when they are built together, they form a craft that floats and is going places. And I am comforted.

MASTER'S MESSAGE
Brethren, though the current restrictions make it difficult, we do continue to work as much as possible. During our July 22nd meeting, JW Rick Mitchell gave the obligation during an EA degree, which brought three new brothers to our fraternity. We also heard the petition for the degrees of masonry by Robert Keyser, assigning a committee to investigate.
Our first stated meeting in August will be a single step up and the second stated will be a double step up. Unfortunately, we remain under restrictions from the state of Colorado, which continues to limit the number of brothers that may attend meetings to sixteen. Should you wish to attend a meeting, please contact me to reserve a space. You are a member of the Weston Family; I encourage you to remember your brothers. Keep yourself and your family safe and remember to reach out to a line officer if we can be of assistance.
