MASTER'S MESSAGE
Brothers, it is again the time of the year when we are to give thanks for the manifold blessings we enjoy.
It is that time when we set at the table with our loved ones and savor a good meal.
The thing is, it shouldn’t have to be just one day a year.
We should give thanks every morning when we wake up, every night before we go to bed, after a hard day at work, or just for being alive and to have the opportunity to better ourselves.
We should also be thankful to all of those who are away from their families in harm’s way, and those who sacrificed themselves for us, so that we can have this wonderful day with our friends and families.

The true value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive.

Brothers we have an obligation as human beings and as Masons, to give more to the world. What is the purpose of "working" to become better men if we don’t share our knowledge and example with the rest of our brothers and the world?
Masonry is slowly losing speed, we see less new members joining every year, and some of the ones that joined, are now gone because they didn’t find any purpose in being Masons.
We are very lucky to belong to a great Lodge. But we need all members to be involved. Paying your dues is not enough. Where are you? Are our lives that busy that we can not spend a few hours a month to share our knowledge and help the Fraternity?
The whole world needs better men now more than ever. We need all of you.

MASTER'S MESSAGE
Brothers I hope you had a wonderful summer with your families and friends. I remember back a few years ago (only a few) when I was in school, and at the end of the school year, me and my buddies, we were all sad because we weren’t going to hang out during recess or after school hours any more till next year, after summer. Then after that summer, the night before the first day of the new school year, I was so nervous and excited about going back, see all my friends, and talk about everything we did that summer. Just thinking about it makes me feel very happy, it sure was a great time in my life, and I believe it was in yours as well. So my brethren, summer is over again, it is time to go back to Lodge and exchange stories about what we did during this time away from each other. It sure is a great feeling, knowing that I will see my dear friends again.

As is common in other popular downtown areas, parking in Downtown Littleton, Colorado can be challenging at times. The map below can assist in finding parking locations within a reasonable distance of Weston Masonic Temple. When planning your visit, it is advisable to arrive early and give yourself time to find parking.

We Need Volunteers – Saturday August 24, 2019 @ 8:00 AM
The Temple Board has approved funds for new blinds in the dining room and library. Also approved are funds for painting materials for the dining room at the lodge.
Now we need a group of volunteers to make it happen.
We have a tentative date of Saturday August 24, 2019 @ 8 AM to paint the dining area.
The plan is for Walt to tape if off the night before. Painting will begin Saturday morning. We will have a few people trimming it out, a few following with rollers and a few cleaning up behind.
Lunch will be provided.
After the painting is complete. We will get the new blinds picked up and install them.
Let Bruce Swedal know whether or not you will be there and start spreading the word and recruiting others ASAP. If we get a decent crew, this will probably not take that long.
