Weston Lodge #22 will be participating in the Ghost Town rising at Nevada Lodge #4. We will be conferring a Third Degree for one of our brothers. Dinner will be served and the times for the Degree work will be posted soon.
Brothers due to the lack of interest in the upcoming Temple association dinner it was decided Wednesday night to not do it on May 5th. We will combine it with the fund raiser BBQ on June 9th at the Boggy Draw Tap House. There is plenty of parking, it is dog friendly and we will be selling brats, burgers, chips to our masonic family and anyone else that come. We will be making all proceeds from food and will be setting up games. We will be doing the silent auction there as well. Sorry for the short notice. See the attached flyer
Monday April 16, 2018 the brothers of Weston Lodge visited the Job's Daughters for the shadow night. Four Line Officers Steve O'Donnell WM, Benjamin Bridge SD, Rick Mitchel JD, Tom Hearn SS and four Brothers Randy Lutton, Michael Marcus, Larry Page and Bob Sangster PM attended. The ladies did a great job opening. Thanks to Brother Larry for stepping in to assist with the ritual by being the newest Job's Daughter. The girls impressed everyone attending the event with their memory and floor work.
Weston Lodge 22 held a Table Lodge of Instruction on March 24, 2018 to honor the living pillars of our lodge.
The thirty one members in attendance began the evening with a fantastic dinner. After dinner, speakers instructed members on living pillars within the lodge, who through their dedication, have been instrumental in taking Weston Lodge 22 to greater heights.
The pillars were aligned and cannons were charged as Steven O'Donnell (WM) led off the instruction with a short introduction on the history of the American Flag. Steve Helms gave a moving masonic history of Brother Bob Helms. Ian Hughes spoke on Mel Boll (PM). Austin Harris spoke on John Buchanan (PM). Doug Ayers spoke on Sid Wright (PM), and Thayne Coulter spoke on Clark Skinner (PM).
The evening couldn't have happened without the extraordinary efforts of Brothers Michael Cardoza, Josh Levin and Ryan Hite who planned the event and worked through the afternoon to prepare dinner.
