MASTER'S MESSAGE

Dear Brothers of Weston Lodge,

As we reflect on our journey thus far, I'm filled with gratitude and pride for the remarkable first quarter we've shared together as a Lodge. Already this year, we have conducted ritual on the Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason Degrees and I thank all of you who have attended and participated in these events! Our joint Table Lodge with Nevada No. 4 was a resounding success, and we eagerly anticipate another gathering in the Fall to deepen our fraternal connections – stay tuned for details!

Continuing our successful Masonic Discussions at the 1st stated communications, this month we will be debating the merits and value of leveraging a Chamber of Reflection as part of the ritual work in a Lodge. If you are unfamiliar with the concept, this article and this Podcast explain it nicely and are well worth a read/listen! Please come ready to discuss your opinion to the question: Should a Chamber of Reflection be part of the initiatic experience in Freemasonry?

I am looking forward to a great second quarter filled with ritual work, debating and sharing ideas, education, and brotherly love. I hope each of you are having even a fraction as much fun as I am having from the East! I appreciate your continued support and here’s to Higher Thoughts, Nobler Deeds, and Greater Achievements!

Fraternally, Josh Levin, Worshipful Master
Weston Lodge No. 22
