Brethren,

The excitement of a new year gives way to the labor that truly defines us. Our theme, Strengthen and Support, now becomes more meaningful. The GL Annual Communication is complete, we have a new Grand Master and we are ready to move into February with a steady rhythm.

We strengthen the Lodge through preparation, attention to ritual, and a sincere desire to improve ourselves. Strength is not built with haste, but through consistency and care in all that we do.

We support the Lodge by showing up for meetings and events. We support one another with encouragement, mentorship, and a willingness to lend a hand when needed. These are the actions which bind us together as Brothers.

When the work is done well, the Worshipful Master has pleasure, and the Craft profits thereby. That profit is seen in unity, growth, and a Lodge made stronger by the conduct of its members.

Let’s continue our labors with purpose, being mindful that each of us has a role in strengthening and supporting the whole.

Special congratulations to Bro. Adam Sills and W.B. Scott Bates on receiving the Grand Master’s Award and to W.B. Tom Hearn on receiving Honor Lodge for 2025.

I look forward to seeing you all and don’t forget to do something especially nice for your wife on the 14th!
