Brethren of Weston Lodge #22,

As we enter the summer months and our lodge temporarily goes dark, it is essential to remember the importance of maintaining a balanced life, both mentally and physically. Masonry teaches us the value of self-improvement, and physical activity plays a significant role in our overall well-being. As we take this break from our formal meetings in July and August, let us seize the opportunity to engage in activities that rejuvenate our bodies and minds.

Remember the wise words of Brother Benjamin Franklin: ‘The health of the body is the beginning of health in the spirit.’ By embracing physical exercise, whether it be a walk in nature, a game of sports, or even a simple workout routine, we reinforce the teachings of our craft and enhance our ability to serve as pillars in our communities. Let us strive to exemplify the principles of Freemasonry not only in our lodges but also in our daily lives.

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for an exciting event on September 9th, when we will be raising several worthy brothers to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. This occasion signifies the culmination of their journey within our beloved fraternity, and it is a moment of great significance for them, their families, and our lodge. Let us join together in anticipation and support as we celebrate their accomplishments and welcome them to the esteemed rank of Master Mason.
