Masters note for October
Just try to make the world a better place for your having been there
Brother Jimmy Doolittle
My brothers we my think of some things a being of a trivial nature, but a smile, a hand shake, a friendly word or sharing a meal means the world to someone. We had the pleasure of doing this at the Easter Star Masonic Retirement Home. This special meeting was to be for the brothers there, it became for me at least a special meet for us. At the last minute I decided the brothers there didn’t need to listen to us speak about missionary we needed to listen to them. We heard how and where they were made masons, of masonry during the Second World War and of being 50 plus year masons. Our Weston brothers told of our time in masonry as well some like Clark and Joe with more than 50 years and others of just beginning their journey. It was a wonderful meeting and one I hope we do again
