MASTER'S MESSAGE
Brothers,
I hope many of you have enjoyed this wonderful fall season. It is hard to believe we are near the time to elect new officers for 2022-2023.
With three stated meetings remaining, we have scheduled the Master Mason degree on Dec. 3rd. We will also hold our Annual Chili Cook off on Dec. 3rd; please be sure to join us for both events which will be held at Weston. Dec. 7th is elections, again your presence and ability to cast your vote is extremely important to the brothers and to our lodge. Dec.10th will be the installation of our new officers.
As the year begins to wind down and come to a close, I wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" to all of my Officers, Past Masters and Brothers who have helped me, supported and guided me and our lodge in so many ways this year. You have inspired me, helped to lead committees/events, prepared some amazing meals for all of us and kept us on track with our fraternal obligations. Your knowledge and understanding of our bylaws, obligations and commitment to our community are unsurpassed. I have been honored to be in your presence and to have this wonderful opportunity to be your Worshipful Master.
Wishing all of my Brothers a happy holiday season. May your Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year's be truly amazing, making memories with your family, friends & brothers for years to come.

The end of the year is fast approaching and as usual, everything is going downhill fast, with no brakes on the car. Following is our current schedule of events:

Brothers,
Our summer vacation is quickly coming to a close. As we gear up for the second half of the year, I sincerely hope you are all refreshed and ready for a race to the finish.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at our 150th Anniversary celebration on Sep 24th at 11:00 a.m. The
Grand Master of Masons of Colorado will be in attendance to honor our lodge and brotherhood. We will have a pig roast with additional sides and dessert.
We have instituted a few new things this year that have made coming to lodge more interesting and
educational. Additionally there will be two more Masters Hat games and Officers night off. We would
love to see as many of you as possible at the lodge meetings.
Our calendar is full this month, please be sure to review it and attend as many events as you can. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

My brothers,
With summer nearly half over and September fast approaching, I hope you are all preparing and well rested for the remainder of our Masonic year.
We have a full calendar ahead of us. First is Western Welcome Week where we will have a float in the parade, the first in many years. Then our 150-year celebration of our charter. The Grand Master and his Officers will be present for our celebration. We will enjoy a pig roast that day. If you have not heard, it all starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday Sep. 25th. Additional activities include a jersey night, Table Lodge at Union 7, hopefully a Table Lodge at Weston, and numerous degrees. Then we have our regular events Rough Ashlars, Poker night, monthly breakfast, Past Masters breakfast, etc.

MASTER'S MESSAGE
Brothers,
As you know, we have two regular communications left before we go dark for the summer. Even as we prepare to go dark we have new candidates wishing to join us. This is a testament to the brotherhood we've developed at our lodge.
I find it interesting that we call Weston our Masonic Home. I know every time I walk through those doors, I take a deep breath and know, I am home. We all know friendship, morality and brotherly love. For me it translates to peace, tranquility and harmony. As we prepare to go dark, carry these three tenets with you.
Wishing everyone a period of rest, relaxation and some much needed family and "away" time. Be safe, enjoy your time; we will resume our labors in September '22.

MASTER'S MESSAGE
Brothers,
As I sit here writing this masters message, I cannot help but remember those whom we have lost; Clark, Ron, Bob just to name a few. Loved, cherished, and remembered fondly.
As we continue on, there are new faces among us. Some we have come to know and others we have not even met yet. Before you know it or even realize it has happened, we will become the old faces, and then one by one we will fade into history. We have all heard the term "the Circle of Life." Truly, Life does run in circles. Even our beloved fraternity moves in a circle. The past is history; let us not forget our history. Tomorrow is our future, we can plan and prepare as best as possible but nothing is certain. The present is a gift, make the most of it, and enjoy it if you are blessed and able.
I know it is redundant to tell someone to look on the bright side while they are suffering a terrible tragedy. But, putting your arm around their shoulder, listening with love and giving helpful, affectionate advice is what Brothers do for each other.
I would love to see all our brothers live together in harmony.
