2019 Ladies Appreciation Dinner

The First Annual Weston Wives Appreciation Dinner held on Saturday November 23, 2019 was a huge success with nearly forty attending.

Huge thank you to WM Cisco who sponsored the event; Michael and Niki Cardoza who hosted the event and prepared the dinner.

To any who missed it, there is always next year…

Dining Room Makeover

Over the summer we completed a few projects including a makeover for the dining room, new blinds for the library and new curtains for the meeting room.

Part one of the dining room makeover was repainting to give it a new bright and clean look.  Today we completed the second part of the makeover by installing new blinds in both the dining room and library.  Its an amazing difference and will create a good impression on visitors to the lodge.  Special thanks to all those who helped make this happen WM Cisco, Bruce Swedal, Walt Ashlock, Larry Page, Benjamin Bridge, Michael Cardoza (and his father in law), Josh Levin, Loren Kohler, Daniel Croll, Larry Wullbrandt and all the Weston Masonic Temple Association who approved funds.

2019 Clark Skinner Teacher of the Year Award

On May 24, 2019 members from Weston Lodge #22 A.F. & A.M. visited the Goddard Middle School in Littleton, Colorado to present teacher Liz Blei with the 2019 Clark Skinner Teacher of the Year Award.

Principal Bryan Breuer and Clark Skinner himself were on hand to present the plaque and $500 check to Ms. Blei who was voted to receive the honor by her peers.  Ms. Blei received a standing ovation during the presention.  Additional Weston members attending the award presentation included WM Francisco Mier y Teran, Steven O'Donnell, Thayne Coulter, Mark Costello, Loren Kohler, Josh Levin, Ron Pino.

Congratulations to Liz Blei!  Well deserved!

2019 WMTA Preservation Dinner

The Weston Masonic Temple Association will be holding its annual Preservation Dinner on June 1, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm with all proceeds generated benefiting the preservation and maintenance of our Historic Building.  As the building nears its 100th anniversary, preservation and maintenance becomes more important and more expensive.  To keep our building for the next 100 years, we need to raise funds to preserve and maintain it today.

MASTER'S MESSAGE

Few brethren in a Lodge of fifty years can name the hundreds who never held office, who have loved and labored and passed on. The Architect plans and the Master Workman directs the placing of stone on stone; but were it not for the Craftsmen who hew the stone and spread mortar and squared the walls, the building would not rise.

Dear Brothers. We must keep in mind that The Lodge belongs to us all; we are all gears that make this motor work. It is your presence at meetings, your knowledge of Masonry and your desire to learn more about the craft, what keeps the Lodge active and strong. Now more than ever we must be aware of our duties as Masons, to the Lodge and to each other. A Lodge with officers only, is but a building. A building with brothers united in fellowship is a Lodge. I am Aware that there are some things that must be done during our meetings. I also believe that The Ritual is the back bone of Masonry, and we must conduct our regular business as well. But to make our meetings more interesting we have some great speakers coming to inspire us to learn more about Masonry. In the end, it is your presence, your ideas and your knowledge that will make the difference. Come to Lodge and enjoy the fellowship after meetings.

With brotherly love
Worshipful Master
Francisco Mier–y- Teran
