2019 WMTA Preservation Dinner

The Weston Masonic Temple Association will be holding its annual Preservation Dinner on June 1, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm with all proceeds generated benefiting the preservation and maintenance of our Historic Building.  As the building nears its 100th anniversary, preservation and maintenance becomes more important and more expensive.  To keep our building for the next 100 years, we need to raise funds to preserve and maintain it today.

MASTER'S MESSAGE

Few brethren in a Lodge of fifty years can name the hundreds who never held office, who have loved and labored and passed on. The Architect plans and the Master Workman directs the placing of stone on stone; but were it not for the Craftsmen who hew the stone and spread mortar and squared the walls, the building would not rise.

Dear Brothers. We must keep in mind that The Lodge belongs to us all; we are all gears that make this motor work. It is your presence at meetings, your knowledge of Masonry and your desire to learn more about the craft, what keeps the Lodge active and strong. Now more than ever we must be aware of our duties as Masons, to the Lodge and to each other. A Lodge with officers only, is but a building. A building with brothers united in fellowship is a Lodge. I am Aware that there are some things that must be done during our meetings. I also believe that The Ritual is the back bone of Masonry, and we must conduct our regular business as well. But to make our meetings more interesting we have some great speakers coming to inspire us to learn more about Masonry. In the end, it is your presence, your ideas and your knowledge that will make the difference. Come to Lodge and enjoy the fellowship after meetings.

With brotherly love
Worshipful Master
Francisco Mier–y- Teran

MASTER'S MESSAGE

That one thing we have to tech, that one thing we Masons have as the key to our secret, the end-all and the be-all of Freemasonry is – You are my brother and I am yours.
(Conrad Hahn)

Dear Brothers. It is wonderful to see as many members in Lodge as we have every meeting. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful an upbeat Lodge and great fellowship after meetings. On this month of February, traditionally the month of love and friendship, let’s remember what keeps us together and the reason we choose to be Masons. We are Brothers.

With brotherly love
Worshipful Master

John C. Pool Memorial Service

John C. Pool’s funeral will be at the 1st Presbyterian Church (South West corner of Windermere and Littleton Blvd)  in Littleton on January 31, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. A Masonic Funeral Service by our Lodge will be part of the ceremony.

Local Federal Prison Officers Food Drive

Food Drive

The Community Services Committee is assisting with a food drive to benefit local federal prison officers who are affected by the loss of pay during the partial shutdown of the federal government.

The Community Services Committee will be taking donations of  non perishable food, toiletries, dippers (as a lot of them have small children) or cash at the next few meetings. Food or item donations may also be dropped off at the lodge at any time the lodge is open.

The local prison officers as well other federal employees negatively impacted by this shutdown are facing unique hardships.  Please give as much as your situation may permit without material injury to yourself and family.

A list of the community service committee members can be found on the Committee's page.
